Illegal Oil Activities: NSCDC Nabs 16 Suspects
ASABA- The Delta Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it has arrested16 persons, including two women, and impounded six vehicles for suspected illegal oil activities.
The Delta NSCDC Commandant, Mrs. Obiageli Obiajulu, newsmen in Asaba that the suspects and vehicles were rounded up between January and April 2013.
Obiajulu said the impounded vehicles contained a total of 40,550 litres of petroleum products.
She gave the registration numbers of the vehicles as XB 143 UBJ, XZ 888 EKY, XD 357 KSF, XZ 312 AKD, XD 375 DGE and AT 326 LSD.
