PROFILE OF THE LATE PROVOST

Commandant Elesin Adekunle Dauda hails from Ibadan, Oyo State. He had his primary education at Salvation Army Primary School, Yemetu, Ibadan, after which he proceeded to Adekunle Goodwill Grammar School Aperin, Ibadan for his Secondary Education.

In his quest for education, he was at the Federal College of Education, Yola in Adamawa State for his National Certificate in Education (NCE). Elesin Adekunle Dauda also attended the first University in Nigeria, [University of Ibadan] for his Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) and Masters in Education (M.Ed) respectively. He did his mandatory National Service (NYSC) in Asoro Grammar School, Benin City, Bendel State, now named Edo State.

WORK EXPERIENCE

He worked briefly at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan. As a trained tutor, Adekunle had several years of teaching experiences at the following schools:

1.Isabatudeen girls Grammar School, Bashorun, Ibadan.                              COMMANDANT ELESIN ADEKUNLE DAUDA

2.Eleta High School Academy, Ibadan.

3.Adelagun Memorial Grammar School, Odinjo, Ibadan.

He was at a time the Supervisor / Coordinator of National Teachers Institute (NTI) for Oyo State.

Commandant Elesin Adekunle Dauda rose and qualified for the post of vice principal before leaving for Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps [NSCDC].

In a bid to serve his people, he voluntarily joined Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps as a volunteer in 1988, and later absorbed in 2004 after the enactment of Civil Defence into law in 2003.

He served as Head of Administration in many NSCDC State Commands including; Oyo, Taraba, Ondo and Ogun State. After attaining the rank of a Commandant,
