The Lagos State Command of the NSCDC at the early hours of Saturday arrested eight suspects in possession of illegal premium motor spirit (PMS) and discovered two buildings in Alimosho Local Government where vandalized PMS products are stored.
According the Commandant in charge of the Command Mr. Adesuyi Clement Dayo, two well were dugged within the residence to the level of pipelines where the suspects siphoned PMS products directly from the pipeline.
As at the time of arrest, eight persons were arrested from one of the buildings while the occupants of the second building are at large.
Armed personnel of the Corps have since taken over the buildings to prevent oil thieves from returning for the illicit business says the Commandant.
