Jigawa State command of Nigerian Civil Defence and Security Corps (NSCDC) has rescued a 35-year-old water melon businessman, Nura Usman, who was kidnapped and robbed of over N774,000 at Kwaimawa, in Dutse.
Usman from Tungar village in Kebbi State, disclosed his ordeal to newsmen at the state command of NSCDC, Dutse. He said he purchased two-trailer loads of water melon from Gashuwacity of Yobe State, stressing that one of the trailers was not full and decided to buy more water melon to fill it at Hadejia city.
