Kaduna NSCDC parades pipeline vandals, currency counterfeiter

The Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has paraded five notorious suspected vandals of petroleum pipelines at Iburu Village in Kajuru Local Government of the state.

NSCDC Kaduna State Commandant, Zakari Ibrahim Ningi, identified the suspected vandals as Frank Gajere Gabriel, Lazarus Filibus, Isa Maiwada, Saidu Idris and Bamaiyi Garba.

He explained that they were apprehended by the anti-vandal unit of the corps. He disclosed that items recovered from them include a black Volkswagen Golf saloon car with registration number PLATEAU XC 651 LFA, a generating set and filing machine.

In the same vein, an advance fee fraud suspect, David Peter, was also arrested by the corps at Ugwan- Romi area of the metropolis. Ningi explained that Peter specialized in defrauding unsuspecting victims under the pretext of printing Nigerian currency for them.
