1. Introduction

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of digital platforms operated by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), including those managed by the National Safe School Response Coordination Centre (NSSRCC).

By accessing or using these platforms, users agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use immediately.

2. Purpose of the Platform

The NSSRCC platform is designed to:

• Support school safety coordination
• Facilitate reporting of incidents
• Provide situational awareness and monitoring
• Enable administrative and operational functions of the NSCDC

The platform is intended strictly for official, lawful, and public safety purposes.

3. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes
• Refrain from submitting false, misleading, or harmful data
• Maintain confidentiality of login credentials (where applicable)
• Respect the integrity and security of the system

4. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

• Attempt unauthorized access to the platform or database
• Interfere with system operations or security mechanisms
• Upload malicious content (e.g., viruses, harmful scripts)
• Use the platform for fraudulent, criminal, or abusive purposes
• Misrepresent identity or submit fabricated reports

5. Data Usage

All data submitted through the platform:

• Will be used for official NSCDC operations
• May be analyzed for planning, monitoring, and response purposes
• Will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy
